Meet Oiselle, pronounced "wah-zell", an athletic clothing company that's known internationally for their sturdy running gear. Please scroll to view.
It came as a big surprise when a company that only has one physical location, lured away Kara Goucher from a much larger competitor, Nike. Since then, Oiselle has been trying to shake up the entire running industry by advocating for athlete's rights.
The company has been actively developing it's community, but sadly the online store was missing a lot of the personality behind the brand. They also had no way of appealing to novice runners, as they are more known as an elitist running company.
Oiselle's future is feminine fierce; being a strong advocate for women, athlete's rights, clean sport and the fight against entrenched power.
Running 101 is a new introduction to Oiselle to help novice runners feel comfortable starting their running journey. This is a place where they can learn about the sport of running with easy to access tips and tricks. All while adding a new customer base for Oiselle to sell their product to.
Oiselle Has Grit
Sally, the owner of Oiselle, wanted to add a sense of grit to match the determination of the runners. To visually accomplish this goal, I added this texture. Which helps move away from an otherwise clean and modern aesthetic.
