History

MKG has been in business for almost 20-years. They have three different types of fitness; Cross fit, Martial Arts and Max 10. With a 10-year old website and over 4 URL's for their single business, this project was about consolidation and producing an informational and accessible website.

Problem Space:

With massive seminars taught by world-renown instructors, free self-defense workshops and plenty of competitions - MKG is great at separating itself from it's competitors in terms of engagement. However, it fell short of showing the community aspect on their website. I worked with MKG to bring in a photographer to show the 'real' aspect of everyday students and instructors. This provides more of a personal touch, compared to the competition that uses blatant stock photography

Fitness Options at MKG

For current students, it was apparent that there are many fitness options at MKG, from a new student perspective... not so much.

I’ve illustrated these graphics and placed them directly on the homepage. This helps new students have a easier time understanding how much MKG has to offer..

MKG cares about two things; community and being a bridge for the gap between novice, and a lifetime of learning martial arts.
